Hello, welcome to my page.

After eleven years in private practice as a CPA, I got my start in mortgage as Director of Finance of the mortgage brokerage division of a regional bank in the mid 90’s. In the late 90’s I founded Cleveland Street Mortgage with the goal of earning an excellent name in the real estate marketplace. My commitment to the slow business of reputation-building has never wavered and continues to be the guiding principle and only ultimate goal in my continued pursuit of mortgage excellence. My background in public accounting has proven to be an invaluable resource to my clients and their underwriters who are the gateways to their housing dreams.

On the personal side, I am the incredibly blessed husband of Mary Jean, father of 5 great kids and a growing list of grandchildren and children in law (not necessarily in that order). Mary Jean and I were involved in the founding of Providence Classical Christian School in Bothell and we also are deeply involved with our church. I enjoy reading (mostly dead guys), watching soccer and playing less bad golf than last year. I hate running.
